Description

Large, sturdy evergreen tree,聽Leyland Cypress (Cupressocyparis leylandii) has聽gray-green foliage that branches to its base. This characteristic lends itself well to use as a windbreak or tall hedge. Longer lived in cooler climates and lighter soil.

Plant Care

Prefers loamy and moist soil with good drainage. Water regularly during the first year to aid the plant in establishing a strong root system, frequency can be cut back once established. Fertilize in early spring, before new growth emerges. Prune to shape.
